Late Night Jazz: Leif Kaner-Lidström

Leif Kaner-Lidström is a composer and pianist from South East London known, most recently, through his album ‘Swans’, featuring his cellist father. Leif's style has been described as a cinematic odyssey of music, inspired at its roots by classical form and melody consisting of through-composed compositions, his work also incorporates folk-like harmony and soulful rhythm.

Leif is a member of the boundary-pushing Levitation Orchestra, known for exploring new frontiers in jazz through collective composition, with their third studio album releasing later this year on 5db Records.
