Back by popular demand, Sir John Rutter’s Christmas Celebration returns to the Royal Albert Hall in 2026.
Join us for this much-loved Christmas spectacular – full of John Rutter’s own works and arrangements, as well as seasonal symphonic classics and sing-along carols – all conducted by Sir John himself and featuring the highly esteemed Bach Choir.
We are pleased to present two performances of this festive extravaganza on Friday 4 December 2026 at 3pm and 7.30pm.

Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPCO) was formed in 1987 and has built up an international reputation in its own right. Performing in the major concert halls and concert venues in the UK and around the world, from China and the Far East to North and South America, the RPCO is known for its versatile programming of classical, light classical and popular music.
The RPCO is regularly seen working with renowned artists in the worlds of classical music, pop music and West End musicals and appears at many of the UK’s most celebrated summer music festivals.

Founded in 1876, The Bach Choir is recognised as one of the world's leading choruses, building upon a tradition that combines musical excellence with creativity and innovation.
Described by the London Evening Standard as 'probably the finest independent choir in the world', and directed by David Hill, one of the country's most eminent conductors, we regularly perform and record across London and the UK in prestigious venues, from the Royal Albert Hall to Abbey Road Studios.
