Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 30 October, we are delighted to present internationally acclaimed guitarist Phil Robson, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano), Andy Cleyndert (bass), and Eric Ford (drums).
Phil Robson is one of the UK's most respected and influential jazz guitarists, celebrated for his virtuosic playing, imaginative compositions, and distinctive musical voice. A multi-award-winning guitarist and composer, he has performed at leading jazz festivals and concert halls around the world and has collaborated with many of the biggest names in international jazz, including Dave Liebman, Kenny Wheeler, Mark Turner, Billy Hart, Julian Arguelles, and the BBC Big Band. As a bandleader and co-founder of the acclaimed group Partisans, Phil has released numerous critically acclaimed recordings and continues to be recognised as one of Europe's foremost jazz guitarists.
Together, they will present an evening of beautifully interpreted jazz standards, original compositions, swinging grooves, and inspired improvisation, showcasing the creativity and exceptional musicianship for which Phil Robson is renowned.

Based between London and Kent in the UK, Robson is one of the most in demand and versatile musicians on the contemporary, international scene today as well as being a highly acclaimed leader and composer.

Soner Ersen
Soner Ersen is a London based jazz pianist and educator. He participates in different projects as a pianist, keyboardist, composer and educator. He is currently teaching at London Music House and gigging in London and abroad with his trio/quartet.
