TootArd (Arabic for Strawberries) is a young, vibrant, ground-breaking band from the majestic mountainside village of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and already a sensation in parts of the Middle East. Singing in Arabic and gliding across the borders of West African, Saharan, dub, psychedelic rock and classical Arabic modalities, they imagine multiple possibilities for a better future.
