A Perfect Circle

Often described by critics as an art-rock inspired alt-metal "supergroup"; A Perfect Circle are American five-piece guitar heavy alt-rockers who combine the vocals of Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and the music of co-songwriter and producer Billy Howerdel to produce a darkly textured collection of songs.

Howerdel spent years working as a guitar tech for the likes of Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails whilst penning songs in his spare time. He shared some of them with Keenan who felt he should sing them and the band was formed. The two are joined by Matt McJunkins of Beta Machine and Eagles Of Death Metal on bass and Jeff Friedl on drums of Devo and Carina Round.
