Pennines

Pennines are four friends from Norwich who started making music together in 2006 and didn't record music after 2009 until 2026 when they announced a comeback.

Formed in 2017 following the dissolution of their previous incarnation, Liverpool experimental alt-pop trio Real Terms' intention from the get-go was to take the intricate, staccato, highly-rhythmic best of their old sound as Vasco Da Gama and transcend what they saw as the limitations of the math-rock genre, injecting their material with a dose of pop songwriting structure and melody.
