You are invited to the official launch party for Alex James Britpop Classical, Friday 4 April in East London.
Be the first to experience a taste of the full show as Alex headlines with an intimate Britpop DJ set, with support from DJ Dan (official Oasis after party DJ).
Expect the infectious energy of Blur and Oasis to the rebellious spirit of Pulp and Supergrass as we celebrate the enduring spirit of an unforgettable era of British music history.
The multi-talented man known best as the effeminate bassist in sensational 90s Britpop act Blur, and also a member of Fat Les (responsible for #2 World Cup single 'Vindaloo'). Alex also writes for The Observer and The Independent, has written songs with Marianne Faithfull and Sophie Ellis Bextor and found a new role in life in as a cheese farmer. 2012 saw the publication of his second book; 'All Cheeses Great and Small: A Life Less Blurry.'
