Five-Way Split is a leading UK contemporary hard-bop quintet inspired by Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and the modern New York jazz scene. Blending tradition with a fresh, modern approach, the band performs an exciting mix of original compositions alongside music by jazz greats including Jimmy Heath, Cedar Walton and Horace Silver. Their energetic performances deliver soulful melodies, powerful improvisation and swinging rhythms that appeal to both dedicated jazz fans and newcomers.

Formed during the 2020 lockdown, the group developed its distinctive sound while rehearsing together before live performances returned. The lineup features Quentin Collins (trumpet), Vasilis Xenopoulos (saxophone), Rob Barron (piano), Matyas Honecker (bass) and Matt Home (drums), musicians who have performed with artists including Al Jarreau, Kyle Eastwood, Stacey Kent and Barry Harris.

Since then, Five-Way Split has sold out shows at Ronnie Scott's and the 606 Jazz Club, while performing to enthusiastic audiences across the UK. Their debut album, All The Way, features original music and creative arrangements of jazz standards, making it an outstanding choice for fans of hard bop and contemporary jazz.
