Banda El Recodo

Banda El Recodo is one of the most iconic ensembles in regional Mexican music. Founded in 1938 by Cruz Lizárraga in El Recodo, Sinaloa, it is internationally recognized as "The Mother of All Bands" for its pioneering role in the diffusion and evolution of banda music.
