About the show
Chris Avery is a Welsh guitarist and composer working with traditional material.
His music moves between folk song, Bach, and contemporary forms, creating performances where ancient music becomes living and present.
He has appeared on stages from Glastonbury to Shakespeare’s Globe, from BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show and Radio 3’s In Tune.
