OKKULTIST

Portuguese blackened death metal outfit OKKULTIST bring their dark and ferocious sound to the basement of Cart & Horses.

With releases including Reinventing Evil and O.M.E.N., the band combine death metal aggression with blackened atmosphere and an occult identity, bringing an intense headline set to our intimate East London venue.

Joining them are UK heavyweights H I G H, whose sound draws together doom, sludge, stoner metal and psychedelia with a blackened edge. Their release Nice to Meet You features four sprawling tracks, exploring dark imagery through extended compositions that stretch beyond the ten-minute mark.

A line up bringing together the savage as well as the slow-burning sides of underground metal.
