Ronnie Scott's 100th Birthday

Marking 100 years since the birth of Ronnie Scott, this major concert celebrates the life and musical legacy of the legendary saxophonist, bandleader and co-founder of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club.

Led by Ronnie Scott’s Artistic Director James Pearson and members of the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, the concert brings together a cross-generational selection of greats from across British jazz history. Art Themen, John Etheridge, Orphy Robinson and Byron Wallen are joined by a new generation of artists including Camilla George, Daniel Casimir, Mark Kavuma and Joe Webb, alongside very special guests Omar Puente, Mica Paris and Curtis Stigers, alongside more still to be announced.

The programme draws on both sides of Ronnie Scott’s legacy: music he wrote, arranged and performed himself, alongside music by the artists and musical movements that shaped his club over more than six decades. Combining live performance with historic film and archive material, this one-off centenary celebration brings Ronnie Scott’s remarkable story to life.
