About the show

Multi-Award-winning saxophonist Paul Booth has toured the world as the featured sax player with the “Riverdance” show, worked with the likes of Eric Clapton and Matt Bianco and is currently a member of the Steve Winwood Band. Widely considered to be amongst the elite musicians on the scene, tonight he’s bringing his latest jazz quintet to the Club featuring the award-winning trumpet player James Copus and the pianist/organist of choice for so many artists, Ross Stanley. The programme, as Paul describes it, will be “music written specifically for this band alongside a mix of originals from my previous albums plus some of my favourite standards”.

“Blistering saxist” Independent; “Paul Booth…has long enjoyed a reputation as a sax player of… intensity...[as well as] an interesting composer…. the result is a delight.” Daily Telegraph; “Paul Booth is... effortless ….rich and warm of tone, he is a pleasure to listen to.” Birmingham Post
