About the show
One of the great multi-instrumentalists of his generation bass player/pianist/trumpeter Morris "Mo" Pleasure has been at the forefront of US popular music for more than 30 years. He began his professional career with Ray Charles before moving to work with the likes of Natalie Cole, Dianne Reeves and Chaka Khan. In 1994 he became musical director for the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire, then toured with Janet Jackson, was on the ill-fated Michael Jackson tour and most recently MD’d for Bette Midler. And watch out for Mo’s special guest vocalist.

After joining Ray Charles band as a teenager, US-born multi-instrumentalist Morris "Mo" Pleasure has gone on to be employed as ‘Musical Director’ for such industry giants as Earth, Wind and Fire (10 years), Janet Jackson, Roberta Flack, Christina Aguilera, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler (current) Michael McDonald, Maxwell, Billy Paul (RIP) and dozens of other iconic artists.
