Grammy®-nominated New Orleans-born soul singer Acantha Lang has been hailed as one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary soul and funk, earning comparisons to legends like Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight. Her debut album, "Beautiful Dreams", reached #3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart and #14 on the Official UK Independent Album Breakers Chart, receiving 5-star reviews from Echoes and Soul Bag magazines and earning Lang the SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award for "New Artist of the Year".

Acantha Lang is a Soul singer born & raised in New Orleans. Since moving to London, she’s been making big waves in the Soul/Funk scene.
Acantha’s acclaimed 2021 debut ‘Sugar Woman’ EP was selected by Soul Tracks as their featured album of the month upon its August 2021 release & also earned her The New Artist of the Year Award for the 2021 Soul Tracks Readers' Choice Awards with the title track landing on Spotify’s Best Retro Soul Songs of 2021. Her debut single ‘He Said/She Said’ gained praise from Craig Charles (BBC 6Music Funk & Soul Show) who distinguished Acantha as "brilliant… an independent artist destined for world domination" in a recent interview for Blues & Soul Magazine. The single also appears on his recent compilation album, The Craig Charles Trunk Of Funk Vol. 2. She is also an accomplished songwriter penning a song (Gonna Be All Right) on Robert Randolph (and The Family Band) 2017 Grammy-nominated album ‘Got Soul’.
