Orange River Remedy feat. Dan Sealey bring Neil Young’s landmark album Harvest to Pavilion Mid Wales for a warm, atmospheric live performance celebrating one of the most loved records of the singer-songwriter era.
Released in 1972, Harvest includes some of Neil Young’s most enduring songs, including Heart of Gold, Old Man, The Needle and the Damage Done, and Out on the Weekend. For this special show, the album will be performed in its entirety, followed by a further selection of Neil Young classics.
Expect rich harmonies, rootsy guitars, heartfelt songwriting, and the unmistakable blend of country, folk and rock that made Harvest such a defining album. This is a night for lifelong Neil Young fans, lovers of classic songwriting, and anyone who appreciates music with grit, warmth and soul.
Featuring - Dan Sealey (Ocean Colour Scene)
Dan started his career with folk rock band ‘Ocean Colour Scene’ and toured the world, played headline slots at major festivals for over a decade and co-founded the band Merrymouth with Simon Fowler. Dan also re-formed the legendary Music Hall double act ‘Cosmotheka’ with his father Dave who were huge on the folk scene throughout the 80’s and 90’s until Dan’s uncle, ‘Al’ sadly passed away.
Dan now takes his own show on the road, featuring music from all the bands he’s played in, along with the often-hilarious stories he’s amassed along the way.
