About the show

After a long, Hot Summer (and a Brilliant solo show from Mark Thomas in August), Club Comedy is Back at the Shiny Tap.

Stevie promised you that he'd bring 3 headline level acts with him, but even he can't believe how outrageous this lineup is!

Check this out

Christian Reilly Topping the bill & making a welcome return to the Shiny Tap is crowd favourite Christian Reilly; a musical comedy genius, who performs the most hilarious comedy songs on his guitar. He is cool, current and seriously funny and performs very funny, catchy tunes… hysterical material. Not to be missed, once seen, never forgotten!

Featuring - Christian Reilly

Christian Reilly appearing at this event

Now a solo headline act all over the globe, Christian uses his improvisations, sharp wit, youthful energy, guitar skills and vocal mimicry to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians with his charming onstage confidence machine-gunning impossibly catchy tunes with hysterical lyrical content. His solo Edinburgh Festival Show, ‘Lost In Music’ was sold out, critically acclaimed and was the winner of the 'Spirit Of The Fringe' Award.

In 1999 Christian started playing guitar and singing for the American comic polymath Rich Hall. High points included winning the Perrier Award in 2001 for "Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw", being on subsequent CD and DVD releases, seeing the world, appearing on stage with Seinfeld star Michael Richards and getting on Late Night with Conan O' Brien.

He was a regular on a BBC radio show with the Richard Herring, called That Was Then, This Is Now that was critically acclaimed

and lasted for 3 series. This led to a key role in Herring’s groundbreaking podcast, As It Occurs To Me which ran for three years and won a Chortle award for best internet comedy and appearances on Radio 2’s ‘Jammin’.

'So much biblical gusto and zest it is impossible not to be possessed by his optimistic persona' (Broadway Baby).

'If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re probably a Christian Reilly fan already' (The Guardian).
