Featuring - Fern Brady

Former comedy reviewer Fern Brady first tried stand-up after the magazine she worked for suggested she write an article where she 'faked it' as a comedian. She enjoyed it so much that one year on, she embarked on it as a career.
She quit her day job working with male ex convicts after Stewart Lee plucked her from obscurity and put her on The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central). Since then she has performed stand up on a number of TV shows including 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular (BBC3), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The One Show (BBC1).
Based in London, she has had two sold out critically acclaimed runs at the Fringe with her solo shows “People Are Idiots” (2015) and “Male Comedienne” (2016).
'A great comic sensibility, with moments of sparkling verve' (The Guardian)
'Crackles with fire, has beautiful timing, perfectly pitched delivery and great gags to boot... has the air about her of a woman going places' (The Scotsman).
Paul Sinha

Paul Sinha is a qualified GP and international stand up comic of many years standing, having performed in all major comedy clubs in the UK, as well as China, Auckland, Singapore, the Middle East, South Africa, Netherlands and Germany.
Paul's second full length solo show 'Saint or Sinha' received widespread critical acclaim at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was nominated for the if.comedy award (formerly the Perrier).
Since then Paul has been in great demand, whether on TV shows such as Edinburgh and Beyond, World Stands up, Comedy Shuffle and Comedy Cuts, on Radio 4's Loose Ends and the Now Show, or his numerous contributions to Radio 5 Live and Talksport, as well as having recorded for Shane Warne's Ashes podcasts.
'Wonderfully inventive and intelligent’ (Evening Standard)
'One-liners are delivered with the crisp clarity of cut glass. Highly original' (Metro)
'Universal anecdotes as warmly delivered as you would find anywhere... it's a
pleasure listening to him... Opinionated, witty and smart – Sinha is the certainly one of the comics Fringe goers should be flocking to' (Chortle)
'His confidence on stage was excellent and his talent for adlibbing and summoning gags off the cuff were very funny' (BBC Online).
Sunil Patel

Downbeat stand-up comic who 'can find laughs in the bleakest of topics' (Time Out)
'Finalist in the 2012 BBC Radio 2 New Comedy Award, the 2013 Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year competition, and the 2011 Leicester Square Comedian Of The Year competition. Winner of the 2012 Piccadilly Comedy Club new act competition' (Chortle).
Maureen Younger

Maureen is frank, fast, feisty, sharp and engaging – honest humour with attitude! She works as a stand up comedian and compere all around the UK and abroad and even gigs in German! As an experienced compere, Maureen is known for her quick wit and sharp audience interaction. In the UK she is one of the few comedians who works regularly on the mainstream and urban comedy circuits.
Her gigs have ranged from being the support act for the entire West End run of The Naked Magicians at the Trafalgar Studios as well as one of the warm up acts for Puppetry of the Penis to performing at the Barbican alongside Arthur Smith; supporting Shazia Mirza on tour; to being one of the acts at the Jamaica vs The World gigs at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
