Canvas Tile

Picky New Promotions are proud to present a night of shoegaze with Canvas Tile.

Leicester-based Canvas Tile craft luminous shoegaze steeped in the romance of the early '90s Creation Records era. Taking cues from Slowdive’s dreamy expanses and the genre's trademark haze of reverb and distortion, the band weave together shimmering guitars, hushed vocals and immersive melodies that linger long after the noise fades.

Supporting are Leeds 4-piece Forming, whose melodic guitar music blends dreampop, American noise rock and post-grunge, combining distorted guitars, twelve-string shimmer and layered harmonies with a knack for shifting between towering walls of sound and intimate, melody-driven moments; and Lines Of Silence, an experimental kosmische band from the stranger reaches of North West England, combining analogue and digital electronics, motorik rhythms, improvisation and drone-rock guitar explosions to create an immersive, expansive and contemporary vision of psychedelia.
