GUYS AND DOLLS
Based on the story and characters of Damon RunyonMusic and Lyrics by Frank Loesser
Book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows
Transport yourself to the Hot Box Nightclub in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City in this
classic musical romantic comedy. A group of gamblers go to extreme lengths to find a venue for
the oldest established floating craps game in the city, with career gambler Sky Masterson
making the bet of a lifetime to win the heart of “Save-A-Soul” missionary Sarah Brown, while
long-suffering nightclub star Adelaide laments foot-dragging beau Nathan Detroit’s 14-year
failure to tie the knot. Featuring the well loved show tunes “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat”
and “Luck Be A Lady”, and showcasing an 18 piece live orchestra, this bold and brassy show is
not to be missed!
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Musical Theatre International
