About the show
Joe Martin's sound is deeply rooted in the classic American style, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences from American Folk Artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and James Taylor and more contemporary artists such as Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and Colter Wall.
In September 2025 Joe travelled to record his latest album 'Alone in Valentine' with some of Music City's finest players. To promote the album, Joe stops of at Kirton - in - Lindsey on the second leg of his UK Tour. He will be accompanied on lead guitar by Tom Dibb.
Support will come from Maggie May Treanor, who created a great impression when she last appeared at THL in March 2025.

Joe Martin, a Lancashire based singer songwriter is deservedly gaining major attention on both sides of the Atlantic. As a child Joe was brought up listening to artists from Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt to the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Songs that tell a story played a big part in what Joe would be listening to in his formative years. This can be heard in the music he’s making now.
