Come & Sing - Stainer Crucifixion

Music in Islip presents a rare opportunity to rehearse and perform one of the great British choral masterpieces under the direction of James Burton (newly appointed conductor of Ex Cathedra in UK and former conductor of Boston Symphony Chorus & Orchestra in USA) with David Blackwell (organ) and young soloists.

Registration from 1330, rehearsal from 1400-1700, (tea, cake and sarnies provided in break), introduction by Stainer's great-great-granddaughter Dr Alice Stainer, public performance 1815-1930. Scores are available on loan. A limited number of advance discount tickets until 6 February.
