His music is the union of intricate fingerpicked acoustic guitar, a distinctive understated voice and inspired lyrical passages drawing influence from the natural world. His songwriting draws influence from the likes of Nick Drake, Adrianne Lenker, Bon Iver and Bob Dylan among many others in the contemporary folk scene.
