Of all the bands and musicians we've had at Grayshott over the past 16 years, Police Dog Hogan are amongst the most popular with our audience.
We are big, big fans of their Folk/Americana music and the seven individual members who make up the band. We are delighted to host them again.
We fondly remember their three previous visits to Grayshott; Oct 2018 (at GVH), June 2021 (when they played two back-to-back Covid-compliant gigs at Grayshott Social Club) and in Nov. 2023 (when they mastered the tricky acoustics of St. Alban's Church).
Each time, they blew us away with their energy, the variety of music they offered and their ability to lift our spirits as well as singing more reflective, emotional and introspective songs. All life appears in their lyrics and they have a way of tugging at the heart strings too. PDH always deliver a fantastic evening of entertainment..........as only they can.
Their latest album "The Light At The Top Of The Stairs" (April 2026) is a pot pourri of music that describes the human condition.
Whatever the song, the lyrics are heartfelt and the melody infectious.

Police Dog Hogan are a high-energy and eclectic seven-piece, combining fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, drums and guitars with four-part harmonies in a mix of country, pop, folk, and rocking urban bluegrass.
Their songs range from the wistful and poetic to out-and-out, foot-stomping tales of doomed barbecues, French mustard and falling in love on a Tennessee highway.
