Thrillingly unique instrumental new-wave-jazz-prog-psych-rock featuring alumni of Zun Zun Egui, The Liftmen and Marc Ford Band. Having recorded an album in '13, 2014 has seen the band build up a reputation for their incendiary and occasionally amp-destroying gigs. There's a murky interconnected web in the Brackish mix; Guitarist Luke Cawthra and drummer Matt Jones played together in art-rock band The Nuge then with Emily Breeze and Phantom Limb. Matt played with bassist Dave Johnston in Zun Zun Egui and the two of them plus guitarist Neil Smith played in afrobeat band Helele and prog-jazzers Smith and Willox. Neil and Matt currently play in Tammy Payne's band. Matt and Luke also write and perform in Uncle Ecstasy.
