‘Tis the month of December, and as youngsters all-across the land prepare to hang up their stockings in anticipation of a visit from Santa Claus, The Hyena Lounge Comedy Club offers up a seasonal treat for slightly older children as it hosts it’s annual Christmas Baubles show!
Starring Scott Bennett (‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘The News Quiz’), Daisy Earl (‘‘Comedy Underground’ ‘Best of the Fest’ ‘Scottish Comedian Of The Year’ )with Rich Wilson and hosted by Alex Boardman, it’s a fun night out packed with Ho-Ho-Hilarity!
So forget about all the presents that still need buying, the impending family rows and working out exactly how long it takes to cook a turkey, and instead head out for a night of side-splitting entertainment with our quartet of Santa’s little helpers as we return to the Manhattan Club for the true comedy club experience with an hilarious joke-packed evening of laughs, table seating and possibly the cheapest Christmas drinks in Harrogate!

Featuring
Scott Bennett
Stylishly shirted, Yorkshire-born Scott Bennett delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply-written routines, drawn from real-life experiences have been delighting audiences across the country; except in Yorkshire, where they are deeply suspicious of his shirts. Likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic. English Comedian of the Year Runner Up, Comedy Cellar New Act of the Year and Old Speckled Hen Comedian of the Year. 'A generous helping of wonderfully witty comic observations about life's little quirks, relationships and human behaviour. Served by a Yorkshireman with relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy' (<a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.bbc.co.uk)</a> 'Naturally hilarious, the highlight of the evening' (Broadway Baby, Edinburgh Fringe 2013) 'A star of the future' (Huddersfield Examiner) 'This loveable rising star enthrals his audiences with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic' (Funhouse Comedy).

Alex Boardman
Oldham-born-and-bred comic who epitomises the laddish, male perspective on the world. After cutting his teeth on the Manchester comedy circuit, he is now a national act, appearing across the country and occasionally on the BBC. Not for the easily offended. 'His tall tales can lead anywhere on any given night' (The Times) 'A rare mixture of wit and charm' (The Guardian) 'Probably the quickest I’ve ever seen, certainly the funniest' (The Big Issue).

Rich Wilson
Rich Wilson has loved comedy ever since his older next door neighbour gave him a cassette of Eddie Murphy - Delirious.'It was the most mindblowing thing I'd ever heard. My young ears had never heard language like it.' His comedy aspirations lay dormant until he got a job as a barman at a comedy club in Greenwich, South London. Then in 2004 following some back slapping by those around him, Rich Wilson hit the stage and even amazing himself, hasn't looked back since. 'Highly entertaining' (Time Out) 'Effortlessly funny, smart and filthy. Recommended' (Leicester Mercury) 'He's a very, very funny man' (Frank Skinner).

Daisy Earl
Edinburgh based comedian Daisy Earl was crowned Scottish Comedian of the Year 2015. Very relatable and self-deprecating, Daisy jokes about topics such as from her overbearing mother, self-diagnosing ailments on Facebook and her ‘quarter life crisis’. “Strongly written and delivered set, equal parts deprecation and defiant attitude. Hilarious” – Chortle.co.uk
