Alestorm

Formed in 2006, Alestorm hail from eastern Scotland and describe their sound as "true Scottish pirate metal", playing an infextious blend of folk and power metal in the vein of bands such as Korpiklaani and Turisas, but with a unique piratical twist.

Finland's Battle Beast stand for everything that is good and pure in metal music - crunching riffs, high screams, blistering solos and strong choruses. The sextet take all the classical elements of traditional heavy metal without being afraid of adding their own flavour to the recipe. Their former lead singer Nitte Valo left the band in 2012, to be replaced by new vocalist Noora Louhimo, whose powerful heavenly vocals have surpassed her predecessor.
