Ed Byrne
The master of observational comedy, Ed's many TV appearances over the years have included hosting Live At The Apollo and being a regular panellist on Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You, as well as various other new comedy shows including Miranda Harts Christmas Unwrapped. A sucker for a quiz, particular highlights for Ed have been taking part in Celebrity Mastermind and being a contestant on Celebrity Pointless. Ed is also a regular contributor to comedy and music shows on both BBC Radio 2 and 4 and 6 Music. “Byrne is at the top of his game” (Sunday Telegraph) 'Jokes come so fast that hecklers don't have a chance to get a word in edgeways' (The Times) 'It is rare for a comic to merit the word 'masterful' but in this case it is no overstatement' (The Scotsman) 'A show full of top-class observational humour... A great comedian making the simple sublime, Byrne gives his audience exactly what they want' (Edinburgh Evening News). Ed Byrne was #6 in Ents24's Hardest Working Comedians of 2018 list.

John Gavin
In July 2008, without his knowledge, John's wife put him forward for a competition for newcomers at the Edinburgh Fringe. He had never performed comedy before. He did so well he got through to the final of 'So You Think You're Funny' within the first month of his comedy career. He offers tales of tales of his home life with a wife and 3 young daughters, essentially a 6ft tattooed man who has been subjected to far too much High School Musical and pink fluffy toys. 'His effortless likeability and unaffected charm make his conversational set all the more engaging... a class act' (Chortle).

Kai Humphries
'The moment he comes on stage, Newcastle newbie Kai Humphries blasts into a fine routine. A good half of his brief set revolves around the imaginative idea of a credit-crunch Narnia' (Steve Bennett, Chortle) 'Happy, original and surreal... Caustic, rapid-fire wit... An immensely gifted stand-up' (The Skinny).
