Appearing:
Kim Jennett
Hailing from sunny Manchester, Kim Jennett honed her craft as the lead singer of blues-tinged, hard rocking outfit Voodoo Blood where she not only built her reputation as a highly proficient singer but, crucially, also as an electrifying performer in the live arena. It was while fronting Voodoo Blood that her searing talents caught the attention of Myke Gray; founder and songwriter of Skin, Jagged Edge & Red White & Blues. Musically kindred spirits, Myke invited Kim to sing on the track ‘Take Me Home’ from his album ‘Shades of Gray’ and also appear in the Pulp Fiction parodying video. Following this, Kim then went on to guest as lead vocalist in Myke’s touring band, making their debut together last November before going on to support the mighty Black Star Riders on their winter trek. Currently putting the finishing touches to her debut solo album with Myke on production duties, Kim kicked off 2019 by unleashing her rip-roaring single ‘Love Like Suicide’, which has picked up a number of spins on Wyatt’s New Rock Show.
