The Waterboys

With almost continual changes to their line-up since 1983, The Waterboys are still going strong under the leadership of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Scott, whose intense presence and lyrics are distinctive characteristics of the band.

Father John Misty

Aka Josh Tillman, former drummer with Fleet Foxes. His music consists of such disparate elements as Waylon Jennings, Harry Nilsson, Arthur Russell and Roy Orbison. Lyrically, his absurdist fever dreams of pain and pleasure elicit, in equal measures, the blunt descriptive power of Bukowski or Braughtigan, the hedonistic philosophy of Oscar Wilde and the dried-out wit of Loudon Wainwright III.

Doves

Former members of dance hit makers Sub Sub (best known for their no.3 hit 'Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use), who as Doves became purveyors of indie-rock anthems like 'Pounding' and top ten singles 'There Goes The Fear' and 'Black And White Town'. Their mellow guitar-driven indie sounds with irresistable chord arrangements sometimes give way to playful dance undercurrents. After a lengthy hiatus, the band announced in December 2018 they were back. 2020 saw them release music for the first time in over a decade. 2025 sees the release of their sixth album, however their touring band will be without frontman Jimi Goodman.

Peter Doherty

As a solo artist and member of The Libertines, Babyshambles and the Puta Madres, Peter Doherty combines a rebellious spirit with poetic lyrics to give us the 'shaggy indie rock' music that found him fame in the late 1990's / early 2000's.

Lightning Seeds

Lightning Seeds are the brainchild of writer, singer, guitarist and producer Ian Broudie. Ian originally emerged from the post punk Liverpool music scene of the late seventies playing in the band “Big in Japan” which in turn led to him producing several bands starting with Echo & The Bunnymen. In 1989 Ian as Lightning Seeds released debut album ‘Cloudcukooland’ featuring the hit single ‘Pure’. Second album ‘Sense’ followed before the release of the seminal album ‘Jollification’ in 1994 which has so far sold nearly 1 million copies. In 1996 the iconic single ‘3 Lions’ for the England football team topped the charts many times over. That same year ‘Dizzy Heights’ and 1999’s ‘Tilt’ were released to critical acclaim before Ian returned to his producer roots. Ian soon began to develop hit albums for the likes of The Coral, The Zutons and many more.

Brògeal

Hailing from the windswept Highlands of Scotland in Falkirk, five-piece Brògeal came together in high school over their love of Scottish and Irish folk music and punk and garage rock. Adding banjo to mandolin to electric guitars to the mix, the band soon found their own unique voice which has seen them emerge as one of the best live bands in the UK and one of the biggest breakout groups in the last 12 months.
