LIT Ibiza Takeover Returns to CrowdedHouse This August Bank Holiday with Renegade Soundsystem
On Sunday 30 August, LIT Ibiza Takeover returns to the rooftop at CrowdedHouse, Trinity Leeds, curated by DJ, producer and Moonunit Records founder Sara Garvey. With Early Bird and First Release tickets already sold out, demand is building for the Summer Closing Party.
For over a decade, Sara has built a reputation for championing artists before they break, making LIT one of Leeds' most respected underground music events.
This year's headline debut comes from Renegade Soundsystem, the vinyl-only collaboration between Shai Spooner and Terrell Reece. Blending house, garage, breakbeat and minimal entirely by hand, their sets celebrate true DJ craftsmanship with no laptops or shortcuts.
Sara Garvey is joined by Leeds legend DJ Martin, who was integral in the writing and creative process for "LFO" by LFO and the LS7 underground iconic track Ital's Anthem" and known for his expertly curated extended sets. Completing a line-up that reflects LIT's commitment to quality music and emerging artists is rising local talent ZYRO and Denver.
Expect Balearic vibes, underground house and one of the North's most knowledgeable dancefloors.

Renegade Soundsystem is the vinyl-only collaboration between Renegade (Hebden Bridge) and Terrell (Hertfordshire), delivering extended sets built on instinct, selection and decades of underground knowledge. Focusing on rare and timeless house, garage, breakbeat and minimal sounds, every performance is mixed live with long blends and no shortcuts. The result is a deep, energetic journey that puts the music first and keeps dancefloors locked from start to finish.

DJ Martin Williams, who was integral in the writing and creative process for "LFO" by LFO and the LS7 underground iconic track Ital's Anthem" by Ital Rockers (now Iration Steppas). Both tracks which have since gone on to be what is the blueprint for UK Bass and Techno music alike.
