A genuine giant of the blues, Curtis Salgado, is coming to Faversham for an unmissable night of pure, authentic soul.

This is a rare opportunity to see a true living legend. Salgado is the winner of eleven Blues Music Awards, including the coveted B.B. King Entertainer Of The Year award. Blues Revue hails him as "one of the most soulful, honest singers ever."

His storied career is the stuff of legend. He famously inspired John Belushi's "Blues Brothers" character (the Briefcase Full of Blues album was dedicated to him). He co-led The Robert Cray Band, fronted Roomful Of Blues, and has shared stages with icons like Muddy Waters, Bobby Bland, Albert Collins, and Bonnie Raitt.

For this special UK show, he’s joined by the incredible Giles Robson Band, guaranteeing a high-energy, harmonica-driven sound.

But that's not all. The night also features two of the UK's finest blues talents as very special guests: the brilliant guitarist Mississippi MacDonald and the superb vocalist Robbin Kapsalis.

DownBeat Magazine calls Salgado's songwriting "an impressive gift," and Billboard hails his music as "inspired and powerful." Whatever songs he brings to the table, they will have his personal soul stamp—the key element that makes him one of the most riveting performers on stage today.
