Texas blues rock guitarist Ally Venable brings her band to The Old Brewery Store, Faversham on Thursday 17th September 2026, with Canadian blues rock guitarist Garret T. Willie in support on all dates of the UK tour.
Born in Kilgore, Texas, Venable picked up a guitar at twelve and started her own band at thirteen. Her third album Texas Honey debuted at number two on the Billboard Blues Albums chart; her fifth, Real Gone — produced by Grammy winner Tom Hambridge, featuring a duet with Buddy Guy and a track with Joe Bonamassa — went to number one and stayed in the top 100 for over a year. Guitar World named her one of their Top 15 Young Guns, and she took the Road Warrior Award at the Independent Blues Music Awards in 2022. She has toured with Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, appeared on the Experience Hendrix Tour alongside Eric Johnson and Dweezil Zappa, and toured Europe twice with the Ruf Blues Caravan.
This tour supports Money & Power, her sixth studio album, released on Ruf Records in April 2025. Recorded in Nashville with Hambridge and featuring Shemekia Copeland and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, it was called "a bold, electrifying statement that cements her status as a blues rock powerhouse" by Blues Matters Magazine.
The Old Brewery Store sits within the Shepherd Neame brewery site in Faversham, Britain's oldest working brewery, founded 1698. Capacity 250 — vaulted ceilings, industrial character, and no bad spots.
