About the show
Every Thursday, Stratos takes over Grow for a night of jazz magic that's been a Hackney Wick staple since 2016. Led by Mercury Prize-nominated bassist Rio Kai, the band blends jazz standards and original compositions, allowing improvisation to steer the music into uncharted territory.
After the opening set, the stage opens to a full jam, inviting musicians to join in. The close-knit atmosphere at Grow ensures an unforgettable night of music and community. Whether you're a jazz aficionado or just looking for a great Thursday night, join us and get ready to be part of the jam.
Featuring - Stratos
Stratos is led by the Mercury Prize nominated Rio Kai on bass, this amazing band formed out of a long relationship between Jamie Murray on the drums, Dom Pusey on Sax and Boris Latinov on guitar.
