ADAM ROSS Adam Ross is a Scottish indie-folk songwriter. He is a solo artist and has also led the cult indie band Randolph's Leap for over a decade. He is known for his unique brand of articulate lyricism which blends humour, poignancy, wordplay and offbeat stories. In recent years he has collaborated with C Duncan, Andrew Wasylyk and Jenny Sturgeon, releasing music via Fika Recordings, Pictish Trail’s Lost Map Records, Olive Grove and Fence Records.
Adam's third album ‘Bring On The Apathy’ was recorded onto tape using analogue techniques, capturing the warmth, intimacy and personality of Adam’s music. It showcases some of the most emotionally open, lyrically deft and characterful songwriting so far from “one of Scotland’s most talented singers and songwriters” (Klof).
“Sheer class” – BBC Radio Scotland
“Charm and character to spare” - The Scotsman
“Ross’s storytelling and songwriting is still second to none” – The Skinny
“An understated master of songwriting” - Klof
“Ross’ lyrics have often been described as “witty” or “clever” but this sells his talent a bit short; his words are incisive, insightful, astute, literary, informed, inventive and best-of-all relatable” - Resound Online
XAN TYLER Fife-based Londoner Xan Tyler has over 25 years both live and recorded music making under her belt. Most recently Tyler released ‘Home’ with Amsterdam-based Texan, Dusty Stray. Their acclaimed collaboration was likened to both Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings as well as The Velvet Underground with a nod to alt-folk, art-rock and Americana. In 2024, Xan's debut album ‘Holding Up Half The Sky’ reached No.4 in the Scottish Albums Chart and received radio play from the likes of BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland.
“Extraordinary” - Uncut
“Soulful, beautiful, crystalline voice” - The Scotsman
“A clean ethereal clarity… peerless” - Contact Music
“Crystalline vocalist” - Pitchfork
“Poetic perfection.” Bluesbunny
Featuring - Adam Ross
Adam is well known to many as the frontman and songwriter with Randolph's Leap, but he also performs solo and shows off his clever and melodic songwriting in a stripped down, but no less charming fashion.
Xan Tyler
Xan Tyler is a London-born, Scotland based, musician whose music is difficult to pin down to one genre. She moves effortlessly from baroque pop and indie through blue-eyed soul with a nod to Wickerman folk but the stories of sisterhood, survival and aging are clear and both fascinating and inspiring.
