The Fontanas deliver brass fuelled, Soulful Latin funk.
“Groovy, funky, and soulful… The Fontanas have it all” Radio WKRP.
Join us on the dance floor for a high energy night of brass-fuelled, soulful Latin music.
The band combines some of the funkiest musicians from Brazil and the UK, to produce a sound that brings the feel-good festival vibes, like carnival has come early!
The band have fine-tuned their sound, trailblazing across the festival scene, building on their reputation with several key releases, including their last LP ‘The Luxury Of Time’ and their Brazilian inspired rework of ‘Capoeira Mata Um’ (Movimientos Records).

The Fontanas
The Fontanas play funky samba soul and afro ska. This infectious and totally feel good sound will have you up and dancing carnival style! The Fontanas have trail blazed across the festival circuit and lapped it up. Their sound takes in Funky Brazilian influences and ska, but defines its sound from their base in London. The band is comprised of hand picked musicians who have played alongside the likes of Amy Winehouse and Mumford And Sons.
