Double New Zealand Edinburgh Comedy Previews

Two rising stars of the stand-up circuit, both all the way from New Zealand, present an evening of pre-Edinburgh Festival comedy warm-ups at The Point.

Multi-award winning comedian Becky Umbers brings us Tell That Horse To Keep His Mouth Shut - in a world overflowing with misinformation, is the only way to get the truth to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth? A fun, silly comedy show that aims to question, understand - but mostly entertain - at a time when reality itself sounds made up.

Eli Matthewson is the first ever New Zealander to move to London and he has done it right on time for the end of the world. Just as life was starting to feel safe and secure, he has thrown it all away and scraped into the UK on the last possible week he could qualify for the youth mobility visa. A work-in-progress show about doing everything you can to make something of yourself before society completely crumbles.
