About the show

The award-winning Stitches Comedy clubs is back for its first summer special in Eastbourne! Opening the show is Angela Barnes, a regular on our TV screens for the last decade! Angela has been busy touring her sold out stand-up show around the UK but you’ll most likely recognise her from her appearances on Mock the week, Live At The Apollo, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Worlds Most Dangerous Roads, House of Games, and Have I Got News For You?

Next up is a true comedy legend… Angelos Epithemiou. Angelos rose to fame as the sidekick to Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in their iconic 90s TV show Shooting Stars but has also appeared on The Rob Bryson Show, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and had his own Channel 4 TV series as well as appearing on Celebrity Come Dine With Me.

Headliner is an icon of our TV screens over the last 25 years, Ed Byrne. The appearances are too many to mention, but his most prolific have been as a regular on Mock the Week, starring on Michael McIntyre‘s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo 4 times (!), QI, Would I Lie To You and even The Graham Norton Show!

All held together by award winning compere James Alderson, it’s a night not to be missed!

Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
