About the show

Steve returns to play Durham Fringe Festival for the fifth consecutive year this coming July.

Tickets are on sale now for all of his three shows at Leonard's Coffee House on the 29th, 30th and 31st July. There will be original songs from across his five critically-acclaimed albums, and beyond, delivered with the passion and humour that prompted FATEA Magazine to describe him as "a privilege to witness", and which RnR Magazine proclaimed have "a direct route to the heart".

Award-winning acoustic singer/songwriter now based in North East of England with songs ranging from fragile reflections on love & loss to blistering protest & social commentary. Debut '14 Good Intentions' (2012) was followed by his breakthrough album 'Striking Matches In The Wind' (2015) & late 2016 the critically-acclaimed 'Somewhere Between' was released. Awarded Album Of The Year by FATEA Magazine and FolkWords (Solo Male category) it also featured on multiple 'Best of 2016' lists. His live performances continue to establish him as "Extraordinary!" (Folking.com) and "One of the UK's outstanding contemporary singer/songwriters.". (Live In The North East)

In late 2019, Steve put out his first live release, a 7 track mini-album titled 'Alone In The Dark' which was very well-received and featured on Roots & Fusion's list of '25 essential Albums of 2019'. His live music initiative, 'On Trust Events', which was launched earlier on in the year was nominated in the 'Innovation' category of FATEA Magazine's annual awards.
