Dawnette Fessey is a long-established blues singer whose effervescent performances, enchanting stage personality, and powerful vocal stylings have garnered praise across the UK and Europe.

Performing regularly with notable blues artistes such as Big Creek Slim, Dexter Shaw, Steve Weston & Big Joe Louis, she also leads her Li’l Dawnette Trio & Essex-based blues band No Good Woman & the Kingsnakes.

Described by her peers as “raw & authentic”, Dawnette’s offer to the world of blues is truly emotional & fearless, as she confidently steps forward to rewrite the rules of ‘who should sing what & how.
