About the show
2026 will be the 20th edition of the Derby Folk Festival!
This year, the festival will have concerts and events in several venues in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter (the cultural heart of the city centre), giving you a bigger, wider programme, with lots of different things happening.

Hailing from the heart of historic Mercia, 5 Hills Out is a band of unapologetic Agit-Folk musicians united in their passion of folk-punk and a desire to make a stand against the world's challenges. Fusing their raw inner punk energy with the soothing sounds of their folk heritage, the band creates a unique and powerful sound. Armed with an arsenal of traditional folk instruments and distortion, 5 Hills Out's passionate lyrics and electrifying performances leave a lasting impression.
