Harry Dowell is an Exeter-based saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. A graduate of the University of Bristol, where he studied under Kevin Figes, Harry draws influence from post-bop artists such as John Coltrane, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker and Kurt Rosenwinkel. His thoughtful yet complex improvising and rich, balanced tone have been heard across the country with artists such as Lack of Afro, Mac Adams, and Jonah Hitchens. Harry is also a mainstay on the Devon jazz scene, and has led groups at jazz clubs and festivals from St. Ives to Bristol.

Harry and his top-notch band will be bringing the best of the post-bop and contemporary jazz genres in a drummer-less trio, allowing the musicians to focus on setting an open, decluttered sound. Expect toe-tapping groove, dynamic interplay and a touch of sophistication.
