Fishing 4 Compliments
Fishing 4 Compliments are a quirky, Huddersfield-based indie-folk-pop band which emerged organically around lead singer Eileen’s emotive & enigmatic songs. The four core members share a passion for developing and creating their unique, uplifting, harmony-driven sound. Their debut, Off The Isle Of Somewhere, was released in April 2020 and an autumn 2025 second album, Lost In Good Intentions, documents the joyful recording journey with former drummer/percussionist David and their producers, The Dunwells. Their music has been described as “Catchy, hook-laden pop-folk” (FATEA magazine) and "a fabulous, lively mix of blend of folk and pop" (Withjustahintofmayhem blog). They have been mentioned on Radcliffe and Maconie and nominated for "Best Folk/acoustic Act" in the Radio Wigwam Awards.
