Join the Jay Cee Big Band for a magnificent reimagining of Tchaikovsky’s ballet classic, crafted through the brilliant lens of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. The familiar characters are all here, but with a vibrant jazz twist. The Sugar Plum Fairy morphs into Sugar Rum Cherry, and the Waltz of the Flowers blooms into the swinging Dance of the Floreadores. Tchaikovsky’s iconic melodies remain firmly at centre stage, but seasoned with rich jazz, blues, and big band spices.
