About the show
Following the announcement that Other Voices Cardigan is taking a fallow year in 2026, we promised we wouldn’t let October pass without a celebration of incredible live music in our town.
The ABERTEIFI LIVE collective, a partnership formed of local music champions: Mwldan, Fflach, Small World Theatre, The Cellar and GRAIN, is thrilled to share the first wave of artists for our brand-new grassroots music weekend on 30–31 October 2026. We have curated a line-up designed to capture that intimate, unmistakable festival magic that transforms Aberteifi every autumn, spanning folk, grime, indie, soul and electronica and much, much more…

DJs, talks and late night sessions
Over the course of two days, more than 40 live gigs will take over five of Cardigan’s most beloved independent venues: Mwldan, Small World Theatre, Bethania, GRAIN and The Cellar.
Featuring - Cerys Hafana

Cerys Hafana is a musician from Machynlleth. She plays arrangements of Welsh folk tunes and songs, alongside original compositions on the triple harp and piano. Cerys is also a member of Avanc, the Welsh youth folk ensemble, and released her debut solo album, Cwmwl, in 2021.
Dani Larkin

Hailing from the Armagh-Monaghan border, Dani Larkin is a singer-songwriter and folk musician who is being heralded as one of Ireland’s finest songwriters.
She's been artist-in-residence at Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and has shared stages with the likes of Rufus Wainwright, Lisa O'Neill and Wallis Bird. She recently appeared at Ireland Music Week, Other Voices (Belfast and Ballina), Sound of Belfast and Output. 2020 saw her signing a management contract with Jawdropper Music, a worldwide sync deal with Plutonic Group Syncs, and earlier this year signed with leading booking agent Midnight Mango, as well securing the Irish promoter Singular Artists to work on her upcoming Irish album tour.
A storyteller by nature, her music is inspired by the folktales she was raised with, intertwined with elements of traditional melodies and rhythms from around the world in a timeless tradition.
Kizzy Crawford

Kizzy Crawford is a Welsh singer-songwriter and talented guitarist. She composes and performs her own songs in English and Welsh.
Lemoncello

There is a rare alchemy that occurs when Lemoncello (Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella) sing together, cutting through a minimal yet dramatic soundscape driven by cyclical, finger-picked guitar and earthy, gritty cello playing.
Audiences are charmed into a world of intimate observations and uncomfortable questions with irresistible chemistry, charisma, and humour, while blanketed in their unique sound - embedded in Irish folk roots and off-kilter-indie pop influences.
