About the show
From early fame as a BBC Young Musician of the Year finalist in 2014 to being the inaugural recipient of the Prix Serdang in 2022, Martin’s performances are hailed as a thrilling experience delivered with passion and technical mastery. His festival appearance includes pieces by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Chopin and Fauré.
Renowned for his fearless technique and musical maturity, pianist Martin James Bartlett has performed across the UK, USA and Europe with appearances at the Wigmore Hall, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, BBC Proms and collaborations with leading orchestras.

Martin, from Hornchurch, Essex, has been learning the piano since the age of six. He enjoys performing solo recitals and participating in chamber ensembles. He is passionate about researching piano music repertoire and listening to different interpretations.
