Milkweed
Possibly the most curious group in the currently burgeoning British folk re-revival, Milkweed are an obscure duo making self-described "slacker-trad". Using abstract old texts as lyrical source the pair create a genuinely weird mixture of lo-fi sampling, traditional instruments, and jarring cut-ups that has a strong flavour of the found sounds of folk horror.
