Dean McPhee We’re such big fans of Bradford-based guitarist Dean McPhee that we keep bringing him back to Cambridge in order to hypnotise us. Starting from roots of cosmic folk, over the years Dean has evolved his sound to take in a rich range of sonic influences, from dub to doom, and from experimental electronics to the semi-wild moors overlooking his home city. Always playing solo, he combines a subtle mastery of guitar and electronics to create long-form, lyrical, instrumental chronicles that stretch out towards the supernatural.
