This concert is devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach’s last sacred work, the Mass in B minor, which is widely regarded as "one of the greatest, if not the single greatest, musical masterpieces of all time".
Bury Bach Choir looks forward to performing this magnificent work, which they last performed twenty years ago.

The Bury St Edmunds Bach Choir, known to all as the Bury Bach Choir, was founded in 1932 to perform the great choral masterpieces, and is proud of its history and its central position in the cultural life of Bury St Edmunds. It was recently described by the East Anglian Daily Times as 'a treasure for the town'. The choir celebrated its 80th birthday in 2012.
They give three major concerts each year with full professional orchestra and soloists, and also give a Christmas concert.
