About the show
Conceived as a fluid and expandable project, Echo Engine regularly collaborates with guest musicians to broaden its sonic world. For tonight’s performance, part of John Law’s PPianissimo Series, the trio are joined by Bristol multi-instrumentalist Pete Judge, best known as the trumpeter with Get the Blessing, Eyebrow, and chamber-folk trio Three Cane Whale.

Pete Judge
Pete Judge is a musician and composer, based in Bristol UK. He plays trumpet with Get The Blessing (BBC Jazz Album of the Year Award winners 2008), the acoustic trio Three-Cane Whale, and Eyebrow (duo with Limbo's Paul Wigens). He has also played with Super Furry Animals, Marc Gauvin, Congolese legend Papa Noel, the Cuban band Asere, Lupine Howl, Morning Star, and many others. Since 2003, he has also worked as a multi-instrumental theatre performer (on instruments including tuba, tenor horn, harmonium, melodica, piano, drums, vibraphone and marimba).
